In fall 2021, I processed the time I lived in San Francisco through the medium of printmaking. I worked in missions in the Tenderloin neighborhood, where many residents experienced homelessness and substance addiction. These contour intaglios were traced from photographs I took of architecture in San Francisco. The overlays of plates represent the mixed feelings I have when I reflect on my time in California.
