This photoshoot created content for a poster for Bethel University's Office of Christian Formation and Church Relations in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The poster advertised a chapel series that was focused on mental health within the Bethel community.
Many of the community members responded well to this photoshoot. The community benefited off of the model who is in many leadership positions on campus. Her presence and floral props represent joy, beauty, and strength, but her tears obstruct the ability the appreciate those three attributes. This symbolism references the toll mental illness can have on our lives.
